Located in the heart of a luxurious golf course community and hidden from the public by gilded gates and a surrounding stone wall, The Royalton on The Greens is the latest installment of a decade-long affair dedicated to perfecting the craft of service and excellence.
In late 2016, Michael Einhorn, who had successfully restored and reopened a former 20th-century mansion as an event locale in Roslyn, NY, was contacted by the General Manager of The Greens at Half Hollow, Tom Baird, to partner and establish a new venue on the Golf Courses’ grounds.

Q: How many affairs do you host at a time?
A: We host only one affair per day with all of our service and attention focused exclusively on your special day.
Q: Can we have our ceremony at the venue? Is there an outdoor space available?
A: Absolutely! Weather permitting, ceremonies may be held outdoors on the stone patio overlooking the golf course. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the Grand Ballroom is partitioned and reconfigured for an indoor ceremony. It truly is a day of decision as you are the only affair of the day; every space is yours.
Q: Do you provide a microphone for my officiant?
A: Absolutely! A microphone and stand are provided. Speakers are seamlessly built into the venue, whether the ceremony is indoors or outdoors.
Q: How many guests does the venue accommodate and is there a minimum required?
A: The Grand Ballroom comfortably seats 300 guests with an ample dance floor. We typically ask for a minimum guarantee of 150 to 175 guests. There is however some flexibility based on the time of year and day you prefer.
Q: What is the size of the Grand Ballroom?
A: The Grand Ballroom is approximately 5,000 square feet.
Q: What is the size of the dance floor?
A: The dance floor is approximately 1,400 square feet.
Q: Are real candles permitted?
A: Absolutely! We actually recommend it; we simply ask that they be presented in a glass votive. Candles add a romantic warmth and luxuriousness to any space. Feel free to add candles to your guests’ tables in the Grand Ballroom as well as the Library & Lounge for your cocktail hour.
Q: Is there a space for us to get ready?
A: Yes of course! We have a bridal suite complete with a bridal attendant as well as a groom’s room with a personal butler. Our attendants will see to it that you are well taken care of while passing the day leisurely and relaxingly preparing for your affair.
Q: Do my guests have to order their entrees in advance, such as with my RSVPs?
A: No, goodness no. Your guests will place their order the evening of your affair with their waiter. Once the waiters convey their orders to the executive chef, entrees are then made to order, nothing is precooked. The executive chef and his team prepare everything on premises.
Q: Do you have recommended vendors?
A: Yes. We have a select group of professionals we are comfortable and confident recommending including bands, DJ’s, florists, photographers and videographers as well as local hotel accommodations close by for your guests. Vendor meals are included here, whether or not the vendor is recommended.
